The batchmates of the 1990 batch of Fatima devi English high school announce to celebrate their silver jubilee reunion in a v grand fashion in their school premises on 20 Dec at 6.00 pm onwards . Dear friends 20 Dec is also birthday of our beloved founder Mrs Lucy sequira its the reason we chose this auspicious date . Our spotlight will on our old teachers, to whom we contacting and inviting to be the guests of honour. A meeting after 25 years of leaving the school will bring back fond memories to the us. We started getting together in small group in Feb 2013. We shared contact numbers of other friends and by April 2013 we had developed a network of alumni. We have been working towards the silver reunion ever since. We made repeated phone calls to the school administration to get numbers of our teachers who had retired and with help of shashi teacher its her effort that we got all the contact numbers and we thanks her from bottom of our heart . Prior to this with 80 odd students making it to the reunion in April, it was time to rewind, recall and relive their school days. Flashing pictures of yesteryears on the WhatsApp group the students almost forgot that they were now working women, mothers house wives and executives and revelled in the past as children. Aim of silver jubilee celebration Addressing and discussing the current problem the school is facing and plan suitable remedy for it another aim were to reconnect, re-establish relationship with friends, share and affirm the values learned during school days, to promote fellowship and social activity, to promote information, to support and aid the growth of the institution, to coordinate activities, and to establish a scholarship fund for the less privileged. Congratulating the alumni association for having fulfilled most of their aims, As the things donated by them were being used for infrastructural development in the school. As a special gesture, the 1990 batch in association with alumni also announced to offer Lab accessories and equipments to the school and Installation of CCTV cameras in school The batch mates will also felicitate their old teachers and thanks them for shaping our lives This is an open invitation for all Ex students
