The batman depreciation thread. Ok peoples so as not to hijack flashes spotlight. I decided to post this. Yes we love batman but like a battered spouse that keeps going back on the illusion of love, there are some irrefutable facts that people seem to ignore- 1) batman is human, a well trained human but still human. Thus he has his limits an cant beat everyone in existence this includes spiderman, darth vader, godzilla and most of the justice league. 2) the prep time excuse cant be used for everything because if he has preptime its only fair that the other person would be given it thus eliminating lots of his strategies. Eg the oft used kryptonite could be negate if superman stayed away and just blasted him or used a lead suit. 3) many victories he has given were based on popularity power, or writer bias. Thus he won because they wanted him to win. 4) the dark knight returns battle really cant count because while bats had an armor and allies. Supes was weakened and reluctant to fight. The battle wouldnt have continued if ga hadnt used the kryptonian arrow so really green arrow won. And as shown many times frank miller is highly biased to batman. Thank you ...... Goodnight
