The beach is temporarily closed; posted as such at the beach. It has been closed (beginning Wednesday (7/16/14) afternoon) due to results (high bacteria concentration) from the regular water quality samples that are taken at the beach for public safety. Beach will re-open after the next sample results that come back within the standards (usually 24 to 48 hours). Beach re-opening will be posted here.
