The beautiful theme from the last Middle-Earth film, The Hobbit-Battle of the Five Armies. I finally had a chance to see this yesterday, and I was very pleased. Peter Jackson seemed to hit his stride with this last film, or perhaps I am just more accepting of his methods, including the parts not from the JRR Tolkien novel. In this case, the parts he has taken license with serve to enhance and expand on the themes of Tolkien, rather than serve as a distraction. The emotionalism was, as usual, applied with the same discretion used by a teenage boy with his first bottle of cologne, but when you consider that this is the end of over 15 years of work and 6 epic movies, a tsunami of emotion seems about right. Like the 3 movies taken together, the theme for our last journey to Middle-Earth starts slow, but builds to a beautiful and satisfying end. https://m.youtube/watch?v=q8ir8rVl2Z4
