The best animated movie ever. This is the first time I have seen an animated movie that utilizes all that animation has to offer to help us understand a concept. Most of the mathematical concepts were hard for me to visualize. Interestingly, this video was produced way back in 1994. Oh! how I wish I had access to it during 1995 when I was struggling with understanding Topology. Around 1999 some time I saw the animation of Homeomorphism of cup to donut and back. I played around a bit with Mathlab but that didnt contribute significantly to my understanding of topology either. Yesterday, when I finished watching this video of sphere eversion, I had tears in my eyes and joy in my heart. A very complex concept has been greatly simplified. A lil search, an I found that it has won about 9 awards. Hats off to the team that has conceptualized and produced it.
