The best lobster roll I ever tasted was in New Brunswick on Deer Island at the 45th Parallel Motel & Restaurant operated by the twisted sisters, Diane Bustin and Janice Doughty. I just checked with one of the owners and found the lobster roll with fries is a reasonable $12.95 and is worth it! I asked if the same cook still prepares the roll and fries and was told a resounding yes and proud of it. I still recall how of sweet the lobster tasted without a lot of indredients to confuse the matter. Whole lobster are on tap as it were at the the restaurant. The restaurant is more like a diner throwback to the fifties with red and white checkered window curtains. Friendly down home service and a place to rest your head and legs from what ever youre up to as there is so much to see and do on Deer Island. 45thparallel.ca
