The best resilience training in the Army. These songs were taught from Sunday schools where each Samoan child joined before they even mumbled their 1st word. No they didnt spend hours on choir practices. They remembered these from when they were toddlers & early adolescent years. When they were carried to church & Sunday school either by their parents, siblings, older cousins, uncles, aunties, grandparents, neighbors, etc. Yes a Samoan childs upbringing is a family affair. Sing & pray together as brothers reminds them of their great upbringing. What better motivation to stay focused & goal oriented? Remembering family, tradition, & religion is key to keep on moving forward. With a strong leader this Unit will be untouchable! I Salute you my Samoan Sons & brothers. Ua ta fia Falealili fua. (but I am from Falealili, lol).
