The best time to get involved with any sort of online business is in the early stages. You get to experience all the excitement surrounding the new company and the hopes and dreams of what it could achieve. Plus you have the advantage of knowing that when you start promoting it to your followers and new prospective customers there is much less competition. The trouble is, there is a downside too. The first year, especially, is when there is the highest risk. Maybe it wont appeal to people the way you hoped it would. The company may experience problems as they grow and try to become established. Will all the good intentions of the founders prove to be nothing but empty promises? There are good arguments for and against whether you should get involved early or not and it usually comes down to personal preference. Are you a risk taker or do you prefer to feel a little safer. Risk takers stand to make more money and be more successful when things work out, but they are also the ones who lose money and suffer when things dont. Its in their make up that they are the pioneers. They want to be first and they are prepared to pay and take the risks. But when they hit that golden nugget, thats when all the risks and past expense finally pays off. However, most people are not like that. The vast majority are going to just wait a bit because they want a little more security, knowing that when they commit time and money, its probably going to be worth it. And its these people that prefer to be cautious that are the ones that say Damn. If only somebody told me about this at the start, I would be making a fortune here. Dont kid yourself that if Mark Zuckerburg came to you at the start and asked if you could find $10,000 to help him get his Facebook thing off the ground that you would immediately have sold all your worldly possessions to get involved. No you would not. Thats hindsight youre using, not foresight. So how would you like to hear about something today that IS just at the start and could become huge.
