The bible itself, is its best commentary. In other words... what we find in the bible about God, humanity,salvation, and grace will not contradict itself. Scripture must compliment and reconcile itself collectively and systematically. Thats why we must be on the side of extreme caution when we say that we believe this or that about God! Because regardless of education or ignorance, what you believe about God is the single most important thing in a persons life. To believe something about God and to go a step farther and argue that case when in error is not any small matter. unfortunately it is an assault against Him. It is a misrepresentation of the God of the bible. therefore it should be strongly noted that if a thing a person believes about God is in anyway conflicting with the whole of scripture it should be questioned, contemplated, called to light, negated, and then tossed to the side. I dont mean to sound redundant, but the best commentary to the bible is the bible itself. Gary Grace
