The bible revealed to us Genesis 1:26, a deep truth about the creation of man, let us make man in our own image and likeness, that tells us Gods purpose for making man. He wasnt looking for a slave, servant, but a companion, the bible says he created a man and not a child, He was not a child of God but a clone of God, he was made to be a companion of God, he was not born as a child, he was made as a man, he never learn how to talk, walk, eat, dance or even grow. He never had stages of development, he just came into the seen as a man. Because the purpose of God was a companion that could relate with him at his level, whom he could talk to and will articulate his language and respond. Thats why the bible reveals that God come to him at the evening of the day to have fellowship with him, and also the only Job God gave him was to take care of the garden. God needed someone he could chart with, laugh with, share his though with, that was why he had to create someone in his image and likeness. In other words God was lonely and needed a compaion. Thats why he said in our image, meaning he will look exactly like us, talk like us, reason like us, a man of our class. Thats why i talk like him, u wanna know what God will say concerning a situation? Dont look at heaven brother! ask me. Cos i talk the God talk, when you hear me speak it is God talking. I know exactly what his reactions will be about your questions in life, Dont you understand? There is an infusion in my being that makes me live like him, it is called the image of God.
