The big announcement + Sugarmill Show Friday 27th December So, the announcement you’ve all been waiting for. It’s with great sadness that we announce that the new album will be the last release from us, as 2013 will see the end of HeadrusH. As some of you who know us well will know, Andy’s partner moved out to Australia a couple of years ago and he has decided it’s time to leave the UK for a life down under with Arline (lucky bugger!). Andy has given the rest of us the opportunity to continue the HeadrusH name without him, in which we feel this is wrong as Andy is THE VOICE of HeadrusH and simply cannot be replaced. It’s not been an easy decision for any of us to make, but all things considered this is the best way. The door will always be open for us to reform in the future if Andy was to return to the UK. Since the band began in 2002 we’ve had some great success with features in Classic Rock Magazine, Metal Hammer, as well as appearing at the Bulldog Bash, Bloodstock and Hard Rock Hell Festivals and of course the Germany tour with the mighty Demon in 2007. From Dan, Tabbie and Tom, we wish Andy and Arline the very best for the future in Australia, and we thank him for all the hard work, dedication, and commitment he’s put into HeadrusH over the years. One of the most genuinely talented people we have worked with. We all would like to thank every single former member of HeadrusH from the last 11 years, including Dave Leese (co-founder), Chris Khosa, Kirk Stubbs, Thomas David Shaw, Ian Lynan, Paul Rollins, Al Stewart and loads more. Also a big thank you to everyone who has helped the band over the years including Sam Hill (Roar Rock), Paul Hume (producer at Summerbank Studios) and Neil Ogden (Demon). Last but not least, we want to thank the fans for sticking by us over the years and showing their support. The rest of us will be continuing the covers band Rezurrection as we are pleased to announce Dave Wheat will be taking on vocal duties. Despite the sad news it’s followed by the good news that we will be playing a farewell show at The Sugarmill on Friday 27th December with support from The Event. Let’s make this last show a big send off for Andy before he heads off down under in the new year! Andy, Dan, Tabbie and Tom HeadrusH
