The big chess game. Obama will want to continue negotiations with Rouhani now that he has been criticized by Khamenei and sees a split in the Iranian leadership. But Khamenei may have made the criticisms to give Obama a big incentive to continue negotiating with the Rouhani leadership giving impression there is a split. In any case, Iran is no walkover as both leaders have committed to continue with the peaceful nuclear programme.
