The biggest ever gift to born in 80s is to watch Sachin Tendulkar - TopicsExpress

The biggest ever gift to born in 80s is to watch Sachin Tendulkar beginning his incredible cricketing journey and following him religiously till his last match today. Like many other fellow 80s born, I started my spectator career from 1992 world cup watching teenager Sachin hitting all over the park. Childhood memory of often skipping meals to watch you uninterruptedly, catching fever when you had gotten out early in important fixtures, asking score to my dad (I, suffering from chickenpox, had to stay back in bedroom) when you single handedly crushed OZ in Sharjah. Despite of loosing the most important person of ur life, you didnt hesitate to come back to play 1999 world cup to perform ur duty to the nation. As a captain, you were criticized for not leading India to many victories, but I know it was never easy thing to manage tainted players. You suffered from numerous injuries but you defeated all of them and returned back even stronger. The ultimate achievement of winning the world cup came reality in 2011. World will forever cherish and remember you for the records you broken or set up new ones. Every bit of success you had in ur life is more than deserving to you. A perfect brand ambassador of not only cricket but of the nation, gentleman at heart, master of cricketing art, love and passionate about the game, flawless character, great influencer and inspirational figure to the millions of youngsters. How often we have asked each other Have we won? How much did Sachin score ? wonder asking about game result will forever be incompleted nowon. You have already been started to be missed :( bidding an emotional farewell with wet eyes. Goodbye and best luck.. Sachin....Sachin....
