The boat comes out this week and the seson is over. Now starts the hunting and training of my buddy Fred. I had him out fir the first time. We put out 10 quail and the lad found them all. He pointed most, marked them when they flew, and grabbed them when they fell.He did not retrieve them but sure loved to hold them. It was great for his first trip.. 7 Months old and he is a bird dog. We will be doing some more hunting soon, no doubt. Here is a shot of the lad on the way home. Definitely a tired britt. He relaxes on the couch with his toys .
