The boys and girls from 1st-6th Class were very lucky to have a special guest visit them today! Mark Condren a well renound International Photographer for The Irish Independant came to speak to the children about his adventures both home and abroad in conjuction with our Greenschools Theme this year Global Citizenship. We heard some very touching and some frightening stories. Mark who recently returned home from Sierra Lionen where they are suffering from the Ebola outbreak spoke with great enthusiasm and passion to the boys and girls about what it is for everybody to mind each other and how important global citizenship is. A huge thank you to Mark and his two sons Ben & Aaron who travelled from Dublin with their Dad to see us today. It was extremly interesting and eye opening stuff !
