The branches on a leafless tree protrude upward during a winters day seeks the warmth of the sun wanting to have life back within its branches.. But as darkness surrounds its dormant state, its branches reach downward like fingers, wanting to pluck the life away from any living thing that passes by. Its appearance is no longer helpless but horrifying, causing a moment of fear within the mind of the passerby. Its the unknown that all living creatures fear the most..
