The busier and more well known NMBDT gets, the more Helen is called away to events, conferences and workshops all over the country to speak to not only dog owners, but other dog professionals and trainers. Over the next few days, Helen will be in NC speaking to peers at the first Family Paws Parent Education conference. As the assistant director of Family Paws, Helen works tirelessly with other trainers, hospitals, and birthing professionals to help educate and ensure safety to new and expecting families with dogs and teaching child and dog safety. She will be speaking this weekend on how she handles her consultations to help ease stress in dog and baby/child sessions. Luckily, the NMBDT dream team, Helens fabulous assistants are there to help cover when she is gone so the dogs (and humans) of Concord still have to behave even in her absence!
