The case of the Buggered Bradbury. This just turned up via courier from eBay. Id taken all the described faults into account and bid accordingly on this machine which was for sale in working order. Erm..... to be in working order wouldnt a sewing machine be able to, yknow.... sew? Not if the shuttle and bobbin are missing. Ive opened a case - I feel a bit bad because its a charity sale again but I really feel theyre out of line in this case. Sewing machine + working order = sews. EDIT: To their credit, the charity agreed immediately to the partial refund I suggested. It wont pay for a replacement shuttle but I feel less grrr now. :)
