The children remind us about true happiness: ITS SIMPLE: we dance, because we love dancing; we dance because we ARE happy and we want to make (other) people happy. We don’t know for sure when we started dancing, and this is nothing of real importance. For kids there is no time concept. And the most important thing, they are not afraid (to dance, perform, to be in front of the public) … Because they do what they are... I learned from my kids (4years and 3 years) mostly all the above… There is one more day before performing on the stage in front of the people for the Mundial of Tango, this Wednesday, in Usina del Arte, Buenos Aires. For some of the tango people this is nothing, for the others, the experience of their lives. For me every moment is SO PRECIOUS! The Festival and the Mundial has its roots not in the “competencia”/competing, but in the Tango itself: searching for your inner peace, your silence with your partner between a phrase and another, breathing your connexion with your partner, grounding yourself as a man, and free yourself as a woman, having the intuition that you are on the place you want to be and do what you want to do. And everything puts as puzzles on this simple beautiful idea: that we all are part of Something far bigger than ourselves, and we have in inner selves a far more Power to discover than we imagine... A bailar! A ser felizes! A ser nos mismos!
