The children were so attentive listening to their sunday school teacher about the life of our Lord Jesus. She went speaking about His love towards His friends and foes, the sick around Him, His love for little children, His love for the souls of men, His gentleness and kindness in all His dealings. Before she could conclude the teaching, She asked, do you know Jesus?. Some of the children shouted, Yes, we know Him! They continued, this man is living on our street. What!, said the teacher, on your street? The teacher looked baffled and perplexed at the answer of these children. She had the intention of introducing Jesus to them as the One who paid the price for the sin of humanity. After going to see the man later on, She later found out that the man these young folks said they knew had these attributes of Christ she was telling the children the other day. What a challenge to the reader reading these article. Who do men say I am? Jesus asked His disciples. The disciples said, some say you are Elijah. Some said you are John the Baptist, Jeremiah or one of those prophets. When Elisha was passing by, a woman said to her husband, I percieve that this is a holy man of God(II Kings 4:8,9). She hasnt stayed with him before but probably she saw his comportment, dressing, the fragrance of Gods grace around Him and concluded. The people in Antioch looked at the disciples and called them Christians because they saw them living their lives the way Christ did. See Acts 11:19,26. God called Moses the meekest man on earth(Numbers 12:3). What a title coming from the mouth of the beginning and the end! Here what God said about Job: Have you seen my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears me and has nothing to do with sin? (Job 1:8). God speaking about Jesus: This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased(Matthew 3:17). What is Gods testimony about your life? What do people say about you in your place of work, where you live, in school...? Can they look at you and attach your way of living to that of Christ Jesus?
