After discovering a chipmunk eating one of my heirloom tomatoes from a plant on the deck, I put bone meal and cayenne pepper in the pot- the jerk came back. Barry and I wrapped the whole plant in deer netting- it found the one opening. Then I attempted to rub my cat all over the pot (at which point Barry was convinced Id officially lost it). Duck wasnt really on board, so I left my cat hair-covered shirt near the point of entry. Ill report back on how that is working.
