The clean up exercise that was being conducted in kibera yesterday being upervised by Cs Ann waiguru and the nys was oversteppn of their mandate coz that was not their work. Kibira is part of Nairobi conty government that is supposed to make sure the drainage,sewarage systems are workn and the environment is very clean for human settlement,to make sure we have the area is welllt and secure. Kibira is aresult of bad regimes that have made lives unbearable since the moi era to jubillee whr the rich get richer and the poor get poorer with little opportunities of employment with most youth get in crime and prostitution to earn aliving.The government lack clear policies to address some of this challenges tht have crippled development in many slums in the city. Poor sanitation,poor education standards are the iggest challenges tht have affected ths area.Former president Moi comes from tis neighbourhood surrounde ith other prominent kenyans who care less abt the pple.Raila really tried bt the gava failed to assist.
