The clubs general meeting yesterday marked the end of an era: Eileen Jennings stepped down as chairperson. She has done so much for the club in these past years, that it would be hard to summarize, but here are her personal highlights: She... - Played for France in 2004 when beating the European selection - Won the European ladies football championship for the first time in 2007 - Welcomed the GAA president Christy Cooney to Paris in 2008 - Celebrated 125 years of the GAA in 2009 - Integrated the Lutetia Celtiques Club into Paris Gaels GAA in 2010 - Hosted the first European camogie workshop in Europe - Won the European camogie championship for the first time in 2012 - Welcomed the Carlow IT students studying Sports and Exercise GAA in 2013 and Organized the biggest ladies & men’s Gaelic football tournament ever on French soil in 2013 From all of us: Thank you Eileen! (and of course see you at the next training) As for the future: rest assured, BNP Paribas wont let the Paris Gaels down: Welcome to the Brannigan era!
