The collection and selection of trails being loaded up on Trailforks for the Wellington region is really starting to take shape now. Im sure youll find some trails you never knew you needed to ride. I managed to get the Pinkbike guys to add Region to the Wellington region name and now all the cities are appearing under Wellington Region. The link below will take to to New Zealand and you can select Wellington Region to look at the riding areas in the different cities. And theres lots of activity going on with rating trails around the area. Some other neat features Pinkbike have thought of including are various points of interest labels for things like parking, directions, is water available - all really useful stuff if youre not familiar with the area. Im finding the logical order of riding areas to group trails really great so if an area is not listed it can be added. One Id like to add (but I dont know what it is called) is the area that has the Mt Albert 4X track in it - or is that what it is called Mt Albert? The other neat thing is trail reports to help warn/identify parts of a trail that may be hazardous or perhaps could be worked on. And there is an app for that as well. trailforks/region/new-zealand/
