The comments for the Bloomberg bloomberg/news/2014-03-23/ma-says-taiwan-mustn-t-pull-china-deal-as-protest-persists-1-.html 3/23 last minute in Central Europe ndamus • 3 hours ago Why on earth would Taiwan do this? China will never let Taiwanese business into China. Is this to give Taiwan access to cheap labor and imports from China? Wow. Skinny Cat • 3 hours ago Taiwan will get swallowed up by China if Ma keeps kowtowing to the communists. Taiwan must get independence! Taiwan is never a part of China since the Qings annexation to Japan. Charles Tran • 4 hours ago Taiwanese must fight for its future and get rid of its corrupted leaders before it is too late. We getting what we vied for. Vote your heart out. Jm Yang • 5 hours ago Today Taiwan Authority (the exiled ROC regime under the ruling of Ma Ying-jeou) is selling Taiwan to PRC, and we Taiwanese know well that very soon Taiwan will be overtaken by PRC. This will surely ruin the democracy we have tried so hard to build on the island of Taiwan. The majority of Taiwan people will not tolerate this to evolve and lose their democracy and liberty! At the end of WWII, US Military Government was the principal and sole victor over the Japanese forces on Taiwan; ROC had never sent any military forces there. And it was General Douglas MacArthur who gave an order to Chiang Kai-shek that allow ROC government to set foot on Taiwan and make use of Taiwan resources to resist the expansion of Red Army in East Asia. As you might know that subsequently, the February-28 Massacre, butchering more than 20,000 Taiwan people by the ROC military troops, took place in 1947. And the longest white terror in world history, killing again thousands of Taiwan people under the exiled authoritarian Chiang Kai-Sheks regime. Over the last 67 years, the US Government had just watched the atrocities taking place in Taiwan and done nothing to stop the bloodshed on Taiwan. I appeal to you all to advise the US State Department that US Government should timely intervene the upcoming conceivable bloodshed that will happen in Taiwan when pro-PRC Ma Ying-jeous cohorts attempt to use police/military forces to suppress the protest led now by hundreds of Taiwan young students. And again, US State Department should know that letting the exiled authoritarian ROC regime kill innocent Taiwanese at will for over many decades, and even to date, and doing nothing is an act of war crime ensuing WWII, after General Douglas MacArthur gave that order that had allowed the exiled ROC regime to rule the land of Taiwan starting 1945. garyandrews NoGodsBeforeMe • 6 hours ago cutting debate short usually smells of corruption Christine Huang • 11 hours ago Whats not being said / written here, is that the trigger of this protest from the students is because such law maker who declared the review portion of the legislative process was over, did it with a hidden mini mic within 30 seconds Canadian Stud • 13 hours ago Wang jin pyng is a corrupt piece of excrement. Keep fighting students of taiwan against the KMT
