The companion animal breeding industry badly needs to be regulated to dramatically lower the number of animals bred. The vast majority of animals are pumped out by humans who can find no other purpose in life, so they abuse and neglect animals to try to make as much blood money as they can. . Meanwhile, a small number of caring individuals are left to clean up the societal mess they create and to save as many precious lives as possible before they are euthanized. . HOW difficult is it for any government to see that this is an unnecessary blight on society caused by a relatively few unscrupulous, greed-driven human beings? How many lives and how much money could be saved if government just stepped up and put an end to this very poorly regulated industry? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
