The concept of earning a living is so entrenched in society and in our minds that you have probably never thought of what that really means. Have you ever thought about why we need to earn a living? Let us try to get a concept of life without money. Let us take a look at the world. We have been given everything that we need to live happily - all from nature. We have got possibility for food, clothing, shelter, companionship, beauty, entertainment and love. Everything that a soul needs is here on earth for us to have and none of it needs to be earned, we earned it all simply by being born. But some clever people have created a system of manufactured needs and wants and have made it so that people must pay for the amenities of life. They have placed society in a pyramidal structure of those who have and those who dont have - those who have at the top and those who dont have at the bottom and the rest stratified in the middle. This structure has been further enforced to the point that there are those who have a lot, while others starve to death. Money, by itself is not a problem. Money can help to allocate/share resources, but the evil manipulation of money and resources are a part of the system that we have inherited in this world and may confuse as normal. Have you ever wondered who decided that we needed to spend our lives toiling to pay the bills? We accept that we must be responsible, and this idea of responsibility is that we suffer in silence. So many of us are aware that we have to take the responsibility for those who benefit from our earnings so we know that we cant follow our heart, we must follow a paycheck. Do you realise that this world is set up so that you are not able to realise yourself and follow the way of your soul? Have you realised that you are set up to be disconnected from yourself, because you are not afforded the time and space to listen to your own heart and understand yourself? When you were in school, what did the teachers ask you? They asked, what do you want to be when you grow up? Could you have said, satisfied without being laughed at? You are supposed to have dreams of following a profession. How many satisfied people do you know? You may know many professionals but far less satisfied people. This manipulated world is not set up for us to be satisfied. You must always desire more, which you should look for outside of yourself so that someone can sell you something or represent you politically. Satisfaction is your power, because to be satisfied is to be connected to the Source of life. When you are fully connected to the Source of life, you regain your power. Keeping you in a state of dis satisfaction and disconnection from yourself leaves you separated from the Source of life and so leaves you feeling powerless. You are created to live in paradise. Take a look at Psalm 23, a blessed psalm. Last Summer, I was going through the words and I started to understand it a bit differently. There is a line that says, he maketh me to lie down in green pastures. I started to see that this means that I was born to be happy. I was created to live in paradise. But this world doesnt feel like paradise, does it? You would seem like an unintelligent, hippy fool if you said that you are simply following the flow that leads to happiness. This type of world, causes a feeling of guilt for a person who seeks freedom from this slavery. Society has become so accustomed to the slavery that we live in, that people can not see that they are slaves. People are fooled into thinking that they are being responsible. This is the fight of these times. The fight to regain control of ourselves - our souls. The journey starts with love, forgiveness, truth and acceptance.
