The concept of war crimes has always been funny to me. War should probably be illegal as a whole. I dont endorse it (not on paper anyway, perhaps my actions do.) why should it be ok to shoot missiles at people, drop bombs or spray napalm but water boarding is illegal? Its fine for a sniper to shoot a guy in the head or to throw a hand grenade into a fox hole (do fox holes still happen?) but god forbid we throw a civilian into an island prison on the edge of nowhere. Who is drawing the lines and making the rules? I frankly dont understand more than half of what is considered acceptable in times of war or why if we accept things we condemn so many others. Im open to explanation though.
