The consequences of taking the Mark of the Beast The world is being prepared for the launching of Mark of the Beast. But do you know the consequences for people who take the Mark? If you know, will it change your attitude toward personal evangelism? The Bible tells us that a time is coming when people will be forced to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666 (Revelation 13:11-18). This is the Mark of the Beast (666) that is increasingly becoming popular among celebrities, wrestlers, musicians, the occult and many other rebellious groups of people. Do you understand what it really means to take the Mark of the Beast? Revelation 14:9-11 spells it out: Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Can you deal with this? No one can. With the Mark of the Beast in your right hand or forehead, the Antichrist police will be able to track you out and poison you just by transferring a poison through the computer. They can lock you out of your house, your job or anything they wish to exclude you from. If you dont want to face this, Jesus has provided a means of escape for those who trust Him (Luke 21:36). One of these days, He will descend from heaven and with a loud shout call us up to meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18). You can go with us when that day comes if you give your life to Jesus and start living in obedience to His words. Will you?
