The convolutions in this case are remarkable! The cases that are being tried (The ones that were not set aside by Prosecutor Magda de Villiers), were given to Hestia Grobbelaar at Somerset West to prosecute, she is an experienced prosecutor at the courthouse but we later heard that it had been bumped to another junior prosecutor. PRIOR TO THE CASES BEING GIVEN TO GROBBELAAR – Rooiheuwels’ owners went through the list of charges with de Villiers before the court hearing and discovered that she was not in possession of the two bribery cases. At the time these dockets were housed at Caledon Police Station. This station appears to be in Van Wyk’s influence circle. Col Pillay from Hermanus then went to Caledon and found the dockets and included them in the Prosecutors case. Since then Col Pillay has insisted on holding onto the dockets at Hermanus as Caledon seems not to be able to be trusted. Our further suspicions were raised against Caledon police on the 26th September 2013 as the accused was able to employ two constables from there to accompany him to the farm where he declared in front of them his intent to illegally take up residence in the house. At a later date the breaking and Entry case also got deleted off the Caledon and Prosecutors system but due to the fact that Rooiheuwels owners keep meticulous notes of every event on the farm, they were able to quote a case no. and the file was suddenly found.
