The cost of following Jesus Christ. Following Christ is never easy as how people say it is for we have to carry your own cross. Based on our interpretations of today, when Jesus said we are to carry our cross, He means we are to take up our burdens and sufferings, which could be our families, broken relationships, failures, and a lot on the list. However, aside from the mentioned interpretations of what really the cross means on Jesus’ words, it also means we are to bring forth the name of Christ wherever we go until our last breath; that we are to follow and obey Him; that we are to forgive everyone who have done us wrong; that we are to surrender and entrust everything to our Father in heaven; and that we are to die for Him- that is what it means to carry our cross in each day of our lives. - Anonymous
