The council in its wisdom actually did something right and put double yellow lines on a dangerous corner on Roydon road at the junction of Roydon lane which is a blind corner on a main road into Launceston and so local people stopped parking there except the owners of these two vans who have obviously decided that they can use the fact that everybody else have seen the point of these yellow lines. So they can use the space as their own special parking space thus making the corner even more dangerous because you cant see through vans or past them as easily as you can past cars, and not only that but they also park half on the pavement which is illegal and should incur an instant fine of£50 and in any case is totally inconsiderate to pedestrians and wheelchair users mobility users and pushchair pushers etc. Their van numbers are clearly shown on the photo and video and I am willing to testify that I have seen them parking there since a few days after the lines were painted there.
