The countrys supreme in a crisis situation President George W. - TopicsExpress

The countrys supreme in a crisis situation President George W. Bush sat in the motorcade headed to pressure shoot in Brooker Elementary School in Florida when he learned that the first tower in New York was hit. He chose to continue the program as if nothing had happened. When the second tower was hit, walked one of his employees over to him and whispered in his ear: America is under attack!. President Bush is as supreme military leader it can issue the most important orders in a military crisis. He and only he can command shot down a civilian airliner. One could therefore expect that he immediately established connection with the Secret Service in the White House and with the countrys top military leadership. One could expect that he got out what the heck was happening and what kind of threat the country stood above account. One could expect that he wondered his own safety, and thus the safety of all the children he had around him. One could expect that he issued the orders that his position demanded. But no, Bush continued the program in elementary school as if nothing had happened, as if he knew that his efforts were not necessary, as if he knew he was safe where he sat. The countrys military commander sat on Brooker Elementary School from 9:03 to 9:27 - a full 24 minutes - without calling anyone. The only thing he knew was that he was whispered at. 9:03: America is under attack. What this meant, he did not. It could equally have been the beginning of the Third World War. But President George W. Bush was too preoccupied with the American version of animals in Hakkebakkeskogen to let themselves cancel by such trivialities as that country was under attack. Seance was shown live on TV, and it was evident that the press corps was little comfortable with Bushs lack of vigor. First 9:27 he called Cheney in the White House. In the White House put Dick Cheney and had full control. He was supreme in practice that day, and he got to be so in peace. He was responsible for the orders that were given on 11 September 2001. When one looks at Bushs effort this time, it may seem as if the most important for Bush was precisely NOT to do anything. If you were in a meeting and someone told you that unauthorized was about to break into your home to your family, would you been sitting in the meeting as if nothing had happened and follow the set plan? No, you would cast you on the phone, dialed home, called neighbors called the police, and then youd thrown in the car and driven home to see if there was something you could do. We believe that Bush, having been wiped ear that America is under attackable, as commander of the US forces, one quarter after he learned that an airliner has crashed in the World Trade Center, was sitting with the kids at Brooker BECAUSE it was planned in advance. Anything else is unthinkable.
