The creative juices are flowing now I tell you! I have another auction item that is sure to thrill the folks of the Northwest part of the country, or anyone planning a summer vacation in the San Juan Islands. I like this auctioning off of people idea, so.... the next auction item I think is a wonderful one indeed. Rick Wood and Shari Macy are the directors and photographers of the Orca Network documentary Fragile Waters. Trying to help raise awareness of the plight of the Chinook Salmon from the problems of the overdamning of the Columbia River. Rick and Shari have agreed to be auctioned off, in what I am titling Bring An Orcadork To Work Day With Rick and Shari. This auction item is for two peope who will actually get to accompany Rick and co., out to film Wild Orca for the documentary on an approximately 3-4 hour trip off the coast of the San Juan Islands. You will have the opportunity to talk with them and gain insight and knowledge of the SRKW like you have not been able to do so before. This item will be of a time sensitive nature, as the filming will only go through Sept. 1st, and will be a gift certificate item. You will be the very first item to be emailed the certificate, with contact information to Rick, which you can then make arrangements directly with him for your filming day. The funds raised from this particular item will be donated to the post-production expenses of bringing this documentary to the screen, educating, and hopefully bringing about the necessary changes to help the Southern Resident Killer Whales, and to know that you were part of doing something very important for the citizens of the sea. You will have the summer months of June, July, as well as August to go out and see the wonderful Orcas off the San Juan Islands, learn what Rick and Shari can tell you , and have a glorious time to tell your friends about. Rick and Shari, this is a wonderful donation item and I wish I lived closer.
