The crying Japanese politician whose video went viral yesterday has become the subject of hundreds of attacks. Ryutaro Nonomura is a member of the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly in central Japan. Video of him trying to justify 30-thousand dollars in expenses for nearly 200 day trips to hot spring resorts was seen around the world. Today, the Hyogo Assembly reported receiving more than 300 letters demanding Nonomura resign. Citizens called for a reinvestigation into the purpose of his trips, which the assemblyman failed to properly explain. Others said Nonomura should be asked to return the funds.
