The cultural space of Gong in the Central Highlands The cultural space of Gong in the Central Highlands was recognized by UNESCO as masterpiece of oral and intangible humanity in 2005. The space of Gongs culture Highland spread across 5 provinces in Central Highlands: Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong. The subject of cultural space includes many different ethnic: Ede, Jarai, Ba Na,…. Gongs are musical instrument with copper alloy, mixed gold, silver or dark bronze. According to the opinion of the Highland population, behind each other of the Gongs that contain a god. Gongs are also valuable asset, a symbol of power and wealth. Currently, in areas which have gongs such as the Central Highlands, Gongs festival is held annually as an active and significant preservation of cultural identity and as a tourism product to attract visitors.
