The current miserable state of affairs on Earth flees into the past, a memory, and grand spiritual adventures are undertaken by Men, who fall, and then rise, and later stagnate. And there is no need for either hope or hopelessness because seasons change, and all things come to pass, always, in their own time, and nothing is really established, because nothing is indefinite. Circumstances will yet arise to play out dramas of every kind. There will be utopias and there will be apocalyptic nightmares and there will be dreary stretches of inactivity and one day the cosmos will flourish with activity and the next it will sleep until it comes to pass that it should wake up again. Because seasons change, and all things, always, in their own time, come to pass. Indeed, all of our pains and all of our joys is their fate to pass.
