The damage caused by University of Michigan fraternities and sororities in northern lower Michigan is heading toward six-figure territory. I come from a family with a long connection to Greek organizations. But I note that whenever there is negative publicity about frats and sororities, the stock excuses are youre just picking on them, its just the acts of a few, and other groups do the same thing. Well, this was clearly a Greek event; the damage was clearly due to the actions of a large part of the 250 people present; and never in my life have I seen such extensive damage to a resort or hotel that was not caused by a natural disaster (or maybe, just maybe, The Who on tour).
