The day after the Kárpátia dinner (yesterday) was our departure day from Budapest, so we had lunch in their informal bar. Local beers (mine was a stunner of a doppelbock, which came in at 9.7%) and these two dishes. Roast thigh (meltingly soft) with pak choi and amazingly light potato, bacon and sage dumplingettes; on the other plate, sausage with pepper and potato cakes. Really tasty stuff, but what was the meat? Ideas?
