The day before yesterday, I was prompted and asked to call a number due to an outstanding of Unifi balance, but I have terminated my account and cleared all balance nearly a year. I called the number: Shafizan, the guy, answered, verifying with when termination was done and last paid amount. Then he transfered me to an unknown, so called, manager. He spoke rudely, asking me to go to his outlet to pay, and explaining that Telekom did a separate calculation after the termination to charge me (for rental of equipment). As usual, I questioned him about his identity. He refused to answer, and eventually said that "Saya buka Kedai Baju punya", and shut. Interestingly, I met a group of ppl discussing about the same issue yesterday. They verified with Telekom, it is a scam, and Telekom advised that we may lodge a police report. And to further investigate this, I googled, as usual. And found this. whocallsme/Phone-Number.aspx/1300888123 So, anyone out there facing this?
