The day began, driving 75 miles southeast to Goldsboro to drop Dawta #1 off at her swim meet; then we headed 95 miles north to Henderson to take Dawta #2 to Girl Scout Camp; back south 95 miles to pick up Dawta #1 (missed all four of her events); and then the 75 miles back to Durham (grabbing a meal at Smithfields on the way home). Whatever I did today, I did it because my Daddy raised me to take care of my own. He dared me to dream and now I dare his granddaughters to dream. My last words to my dad: well done; hoping my daughters will say the same about me.
