The day has finally arrived!! As much as it pains me to say this it is simply the truth that the vast majority of women in the Church and many men for that matter are simply not interested in reading Lewis, or Craig, or Lennox. In addition to this how can a scholar from Oxford University relate to a bunch of soccer mums?? So what are we to do about the this? How do those of us who love apologetics reach out to the the Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Joyce Meyer fans who show up in their thousands at womens conference across the globe?? Nora Hale and Dianna Newman have been working on piloting a program to reach women in the local Church. The first advice that Nora gave me was that it would be best for me to have nothing to do with the program. It is not the case that men need to do better, rather it is the case that Christian men ought to encourage Christian women who know the discipline to follow the biblical injunction in Titus 2 which takes into consideration the power of peer to peer communication.
