The day has waned and nighttime is upon us; I lay alone waiting for sleep to come, comfortable under a soft blanket, and warmed by my memories of time spent with beloved family. Tonight I will sleep soundly knowing my son, his wife and their sweet baby boy are snug in their own home tonight, able to settle down to be just themselves at last. God is good, and soon He will bring us together once again to enjoy the fruits of a lifetime of tending to the loving foundation we have built. To each of my children and grandchildren I say, "I love you no matter what; you are a part of me which will never die!" God bless and keep each of you tonight! "See" you in the morning!
