The demise of 81st Street was the closing of Durows and the building of those three family houses which now contain residence who are so questionable. Supposedly they are section 8 housing, yet there are more fancy cars in that parking lot then in most of Great Neck. The garbage on the sidewalk and in the bus stop is a disgrace. And since when is it acceptable to walk around with no shirt with your big fat hairy belly hanging out wearing what looks to be boxers and slippers drinking a beer as you lean up against the fence of one of these houses. I have lived here for 15 years and I have to say that I am very uncomfortable walking my dogs to the park for their last walk of the night at 9:30 p.m. This is so so sad!
