The design of the vehicle was inspired by a tree leaf. The car is covered with a fabric membrane that is stretched over a skeletal structure. The fabric is waterproof and is a material called Texapore Softshell from a company called Jack Wolfskin. The waterproof fabric is very light said to be four times lighter than copier paper. A light inside the vehicle behind the fabric glows to backlight the skeletal structure of the car.
