The destruction of Ukraine caused by NATO integration in Europe is complete. There will be no going back to the pre-November 2013 stage. The take-over of Eastern Ukraine by Western Ukraine with the help of NATO countries is a fact. Eastern Ukraine is not represented in the Kiev parliament anymore, and the few members of the Party of Regions that are left in the parliament (there are now only 78 members left, down from 208 in November - the communist party has already been abolished in July), are being subjected to a policy of repression and many of them may face charges for anti-Ukrainian agitation. But when they do show the courage, as Elena Bondarenko did, to speak out against the military operation against the East, they are being howled down and their microphones are cut off. Cant help it, but those scenes eerily resemble the atmosphere in the Reichstag in Germany of 1933, shortly after Hitlers Nazis took over. Without Russian support, the people of the East would have only one chance left and that is to flee the country, THEIR country, as already a million Ukrainians did. It remains to be seen how the conflict will be resolved, but I cannot imagine that it can be resolved without some sort of a division of Ukraine in a pro-NATO western part and a pro-Russian eastern part.
