The development people and conservative members of the Board of Supervisors whine and kvetch about Jons so-called gaming the system, but they dont seem willing to go on the record as opposing the right of San Franciscans to vote on changes to the waterfront height limit. I mean really, how smart would it be to actually tell the truth and admit youre against voters having the right to vote.Typical SF tightrope walking. Keep your big development, big campaign money people happy and generous while, at the same time, alienating as few voters as possible by pretending not to take a position.
