The devil knows that the only way to get man to disobey and be in enmity with God is to deceive him into believing a lie and not the truth just like he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. If the devil should come in his actual form of cruelty and wickedness, many will not accept his person so he had to transform himself into an angel of light(disguise) and then infiltrate the church with false teachings and doctrines which will take men far away from God by believing such lies. Our Lord Jesus Christ said in john 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The devil knows very well that the only way for one to render an acceptable service and then obtain eternal life at the end is when such an one worships God in spirit and then according to the truth that is why he(devil) attacks the word of God by replacing it with lies and then compel men to believe the lie instead of the truth. One can be a sincere worshipper of God but not according to knowledge of the truth, such a person’s service will not be accepted by God though he/she might be sincere that was why Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Also The Lord further said in the book of John 8:30-31 :Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. The truth matters a lot and that’s why Our Lord Jesus Christ keep emphasizing on it and that truth can only be found one place which is the bible. The truth and nothing but the truth is the only criteria to be a true disciple of the Christ. Let’s take a look at some of the false teachings which the devil has injected into the church:
