As Chris Baker can attest to, I still remember building the first 1Ghz Athlon PC that was overclocked with water cooling just to hit that 1Ghz. My phone now had a 6 core 2.4ghz processor. I recently put a new computer together. The picture that says 1009 in the upper left is from Crystal Disk Mark 3 hard drive benchmark tool. That is from my main drives in Raid0 using 2 x Samsung 250Gb 840EVO drives. The considerably slower one on the right is the storage drive I put in which is one of the fastest current 7200rpm Western Digital Black Edition hard drives. Simply crazy. Windows 8.1 boots from the end of the UEFI/Bios screen into the Desktop in between 8 and 9 seconds. I love technology.
