The director of this film had envisioned a song wherein Waheeda sings & dances & Raj Kapoor watches from the sidelines. But Shankar Jaikishan had already composed a Mukesh song for the situation with Waheeda dancing. The director liked the concept. But there was a problem. With Waheeda dancing, the director wanted RK to match steps with her in certain portion of the song to make it more appealing. RK took up the challenge. He practised for 5 hours on a single day. The next day, he was ready for the dance steps.
